Commercial Aluminum Windows
Double hung windows are a very popular choice. Double hung windows come with two frames that slide vertically which allows air to flow into the room.
Casement windows are hinged at the side to open outwards. They come with a hand crank for ease of use.
Picture windows fixed panes of glass that do not open. Although there is no air flow from these windows, they allow a large amount of light to come through and brighten up the home and are energy efficient.
Bay windows is considered a projection window- it literally projects outward from your home’s exterior. A bay window is a series of windows- typically one large picture window flanked by accompanying windows on each side. The side windows can be any variety of casement windows, double hung, or fix picture windows.
Sliding windows are exactly what they sound like- windows that slide horizontally. They can be made of two sections or three, depending on your needs and preference.
A Bow window is a window similar to the Bay window in that it projects outward past the exterior of your home. Bow windows can have either three, four, or five equally sized windows parallel to one another. Each individual window can be casement or picture windows.
Awning windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom. This allows for ventilation and protection from the rain.
Basement windows allow light and ventilation to be added to the basement of your home.
Garden Window is a type of window that projects outwards from the exterior of the building. As the name suggests, small potted plants are often displayed in this type of window.
COMMERCIAL ALUMINUM Window Replacement Service
WE are currently not installing commercial Aluminum windows At This Time.
We apologize for The INCONVENIENCE
According to the AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) performance grades, aluminum windows meet AW and CW standards, which means they are applicable for use in high rise and mid-rise properties. Wood and vinyl windows do not regularly achieve those same performance grades for high rise properties.
Aluminum is considered sturdy material that isn’t really affected by harsh natural elements and UV rays. It’s strength and long lasting lifespan will easily outlast windows made of vinyl, wood, or fiberglass. Furthermore, aluminum does not swell, warp, crack or split with time and is extremely stable during fluctuating weather conditions of heat and cold.
Aluminum windows are quite the sustainable and eco-friendly resource. It is commonly re-melted and reused without degrading its’ strength. Generally, aluminum windows are commonly made from a high percentage of recycled materials which leads to a smaller footprint in comparison to wood and other man-made materials.
The final product was excellent. The Promar team installing the siding (Jake and team) performed quality work, walked us through every step of the install process, and were very receptive to questions and minor adjustments requested to provide us with the finished product we desired. Our sales representative, Rick, kept open communication, was reasonable with requested changes, and was transparent throughout the process. Their estimate was at or below similar estimates we received in the area. Would use Promar again and recommend to others.
Promar Exteriors recently installed windows in my older home in Downers Grove. I am extremely pleased with the windows and with the excellent service from this company. This was the first time that I contracted for exterior work on my home. Selecting Promar Exteriors was the best choice. Sales showed me several types of windows, not just the most expensive ones. We discussed the benefits of each and I selected the windows that met my needs. The installers came on time and did a excellent job installing. The work was completed in the most professional manner – they took any waste from the job and even vacuumed the work area.
I have worked with them twice now (shingle roof, vinyl siding and aluminum gutters installation) and would recommend them to anyone–quality work at a fair price. Their folks were professional and polite, explained the work to be done, and kept to their estimate. They also worked quickly and kept an eye on the weather.
We just had our shingle roof replaced. Promar was not the lowest bid. However, they were competitive with the other proposals from roofing companies. We needed aluminum gutters and marvin wood windows installed and several upgrades to the roof. As most folks know, the challenge is finding a company that does professional quality work and can do what they promise.
The work done by Promar was above and beyond. We got a new roof, new windows (including a bow window) and siding for both the house and garage. Everything was done as scheduled.
They started and finished per the schedule perfectly and everyone involved was here when they said and worked long hours to make sure they got everything done. Rick, our rep, was very amicable and helpful in helping us make decisions. Jake, the main man could not have been more friendly and professional. Their work was top notch. We are extremely happy we went with this company and are perfectly pleased with the outcome of everything involved. We more than highly recommend Promar Exteriors. Many thanks!
I’ve used Promar for many projects in the Western Suburbs. Being a project manager I have gone through many companies in the past. For 3 years now they have done a wonderful job handling a lot of Roofing and Siding projects for me. Highly recommended in my book.
